Thakker of Provideo for the first time is producing a different kind of Travel Food show…

“Khadya Bhramanti”. India has the cultural and geographical diversity that can seldom be witnessed elsewhere in the world. In a country where the climatic conditions and soil type changes every 20 miles, it is but natural that so will the crop and the vegetation grown; hence the variation in spices and ingredients of local recipes. It is our endeavor to conduct an exploratory yet entertaining tour encompassing the vastness of our country, relishing the innumerable culinary delights from the various cities, towns and villages from around India…starting with Maharashtra.

Maharashtra is a state that boasts of a beautiful and picturesque coastline, that stretches from Bordi on the Gujarat-Maharashtra border to Redi on the Goa-Maharashtra border. The rivers Krishna, Koyana and Panchaganga that have their origins in the majestic Sahyadri range breathe life-giving fertility into the soil all over western Maharashtra. The Vidarbha region on the other hand, is enveloped by the dense forests of Tadoba, Melghat and Navegaon Nagzira, which are home to famous bird sanctuaries and tiger reserves. People in the Marathwada region have weathered severe droughts each year and have yet sustained their culture and customs.

Our research team will visit various places around Maharashtra, gathering relevant information. The script shall be written in consultation with food experts. Our extremely lively and talented compere shall ensure that the high standards of the serial, be maintained in terms of both, the quality and entertainment value. We have already finished 150 episodes of our series from some famous tourist places in Raigad district Ratnagiri district and Goa. In each episode, we have visited two houses/eateries and covered at least two recipes. After covering the above places, we have visited the districts of Amaravati, Vardha, Nashik , Pune and Mumbai. Now we are in Aurangabad for the further shoot.
